The Syracuse softball team’s offensive outburst continued on Wednesday as the Orange swept a doubleheader from Niagara, 5-1 and 8-0. The second game was called after five innings because of the eight-run rule.
SU (20-12) is now a school-record eight games over .500. On Tuesday, Syracuse scored 20 runs on 25 hits in a doubleheader sweep of Providence.
