Woman stabbed during attempted robbery on Harvard Place
A woman was stabbed three times Wednesday night during an attempted robbery near Westcott Street in Syracuse.
She was transported to Upstate University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The 27-year-old victim was approached by a male in the parking lot behind Domino’s Pizza, 126 Harvard Place, according to an article published Wednesday by The Post-Standard. The suspect is described as a black male, 16-17 years old, 5 feet 6 inches or 5 feet 7 inches tall, and wearing a gray shirt and dark pants.
The suspect stabbed the victim three times after she tried to stop him from stealing her car by hitting him with her fists, according to the article.
The woman was stabbed twice in the neck and once behind the ear with an unknown type of knife. She was then taken to University Hospital.
The suspect was last seen running on Westcott Street toward East Genesee Street.
Latoia Morman, a manager at Domino’s Harvard Place location, said none of the managers or employees had witnessed the event.
