Judah Mintz was not among the 78 players invited to the 2024 NBA Draft Combine in a list revealed by NBA Communications Friday. On Saturday, Mintz was one of 44 players on the G League Elite Camp participant list. Per ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, at least a half dozen of the 44 players will move on to the NBA Draft Combine.

In two years at Syracuse, Mintz averaged 17.5 points, 4.5 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game. Mintz originally declared for the NBA Draft after the 2022-23 season, but announced he would return for his sophomore season on May 31. Between declaring for the draft and returning to SU, Mintz was invited and participated in the 2023 Draft Combine.

Much criticism surrounding Mintz after his freshman season was his outside shooting ability, as he made just 30.3% of his 3-pointers. Despite improving his scoring average from 16.3 to 18.8 points, Mintz’s 3-point percentage dropped to 28.2%.

The NBA Draft Combine takes place from May 12-19 in Chicago, while the NBA Draft is on June 26 and 27 at the Barclays Center. Mintz was not among the players selected in Bleacher Report’s most recent two-round mock draft.
