Comedian Kenan Thompson to perform at SU on Sept. 25

University Union announced at noon on Thursday their first comedy show of the year: “An Evening with Kenan Thompson.” The actor and comedian, best known for his appearance on Saturday Night Live and Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy series All That, will be performing in Syracuse University’s Goldstein Auditorium on September 25 at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets will be available for $5 (with valid SU/ESF ID) at the Schine Box Office starting Friday at 9 a.m.. Tickets are limited to two per person. Thompson grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and began acting in his teens. After he and his co-star Kel Mitchell wrapped up their time on All That in 1996, they debuted in a spin-off show “Kenan and Kel.” Thompson is also known for being one of the longest performing comedians on SNL, recently finishing up his 12th season on the show.
