Recipe: Mexican pasta

It’s the end of a long day, and you’re tired, bored and a bit sick of the dullness of your daily routine. Pasta is so overdone, but it’s the easiest option available for dinner. Why not bust out of the mealtime rut tonight with the delightful Mexican-meets-Italian dish? We suggest zesty Mexican pasta. If you can track down a stovetop, boil water, cook pasta and blend ingredients, then within 15 minutes you can make this sassy number.

We stuck with the basics of Mexican cooking: salsa, corn and beans. But use your imagination and add any Mexican spice or add-on, such as cheese, pepper and sour cream, to make your dining experience a true fiesta.

Add to Shopping Cart jar salsa (whichever spiciness you prefer) box spaghetti1 can kidney beans (or black beans)1 can cornPepper to tasteShredded cheese (optional)Sour cream (optional)

Proceed to Stovetop:

1. Boil water, cook spaghetti as instructed.2. Drain beans and corn.3. After pasta is done, drain and add beans, corn and salsa. Mix.4. Place pasta over a low heat and stir in cheese until melted, or blend in sour cream.5. Serve and enjoy!
