Reagan O’Donovan, the class of 2026’s No. 1 goalie and No. 5 overall player, has committed to Syracuse women’s lacrosse, she announced on social media Monday evening. O’Donovan is a five-star recruit, according to Inside Lacrosse.

The Maryland native has yet to play a high school game as an upperclassman but has stood out at McDonogh High School and with her club team, M&D Lacrosse Club. In two high school seasons as the starting goalie, O’Donovan has lost just three games.

McDonogh High School is the same school SU starting defender Coco Vandiver attended, though Vandiver graduated before O’Donovan’s arrival. The Eagles are coached by three-time Tewaaraton winner Taylor Cummings.

O’Donovan is Syracuse’s biggest commit in the 2026 class yet, joining four-star Maci Mueller and Allison Hankins. She’s one of just 30 players listed as a five-star recruit in the 2026 class. The Orange recently lost their top-two commits in the 2025 class, with Alexa Spallina and Aubrie Eisfeld opting to commit to Clemson instead.
